WHAT IS THE ROLE ?
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager or Product Manager, the Merchandise Assistant will be responsible for participating in assisting the product manager in all aspects surrounding the creation of seasonal product assortments. Supporting the merchandising functions and everyday tasks.
HOW WILL YOU DO IT?
- Partner with the product manager to build the seasonal product assortment.
- Own the sample management of all in-season product samples.
- Partners and manages seasonal product worksheets and collaborates with cross functional teams (design, wholesale,..) to ensure accuracy.
- Partners with the product manager in creating/maintaining the assortment plan.
- Assist product manager in various daily tasks (analysis, process improvements, etc..).
- Partner with the product manager to analyze weekly sales and business trends, and help identify areas of opportunity to positively impact the business.
- Analyze competition/market for new emerging trends, competitor product landscape and pricing comparables (quarterly competition report) relevant to psycho bunny.
- Support key meetings through document preparation, sample preparation (etc..) to ensure deadlines are met.
- Drive cross functional communication and build cross functional partnerships to ensure team alignment and follow ups (retail and wholesale division).
WHO YOU ARE ?
Your achievements
- DEC, Bachelor’s or Fashion Merchandising Diploma (or equivalent preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in a related position, preferably in Fashion Retail.
- Strong knowledge: MS Excel and Google Applications. Power BI considered a plus.
- Strong fashion sense/brand vision
