Loss Prevention Specialist - California (Remote + Field Visits)

The Opportunity
To support our rapidly growing brand, we are seeking a talented and passionate Loss Prevention Specialist. In this critical role, you’ll be on the front lines, proactively safeguarding our assets and ensuring a safe, secure environment for our employees and customers across our U.S. and Canadian stores. Your Daily Adventures
- Conduct regular store audits and visits to ensure 100% compliance with policies and legal regulations.
- Monitor losses using exception-based reporting and support stores during inventory.
- Lead and support all external and internal investigations, providing evidence to authorities and conducting interviews in partnership with the People & Culture team and field managers.
- Ensure all organized retail crime (ORC) events are properly filed.
- Actively support stores and districts with ongoing communication, new store openings, training initiatives, and in-the-moment emergency situations.
Your Toolkit
- Degree and/or professional certification in a relevant field such as safety and loss prevention,
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of retail operations, LP practices, and security tools.
- Interviewing techniques - Wicklander Zulawski or similar an asset
- Ability to travel to stores in Canada and the United States, including overnight travel.
- Multi-site experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Available after hours for emergencies, audits, and internal inspections.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Operates with integrity, respect, and a high level of professionalism.
- Proactive, alert, and willing to challenge the status quo with innovative ideas.
