The Opportunity
Are you ready to shape the financial strategy of a rapidly expanding brand? As our new Financial Analyst FP&A, you’ll be a key partner to our Director, bridging our retail operations and head office, developing our planning systems and delivering the analysis that informs our most critical business decisions.
Your Daily Adventures
- Lead end-to-end forecasting and budgeting for 100+ locations, identifying risks and growth opportunities to drive profitability.
- Drive sales and KPI reporting, translating complex data into actionable commentary for week-over-week performance tracking.
- Manage store-level people costs, including labor modeling and bonus targets, while keeping a sharp eye on actuals versus plans.
- Oversee store capital expenditure (CapEx) through rigorous forecasting and budget reviews.
- Act as the FP&A voice in key initiatives, collaborating with Marketing, E-commerce, and IT to align on retail goals.
- Provide financial mentorship to Regional and Store Managers, helping them interpret their P&Ls and optimize daily performance.
- Ensure rock-solid data quality for all month, quarter, and year-end closes in partnership with the Accounting team.
Your Toolkit
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a financial analyst role, with a
- Advanced expertise in building and interpreting complex financial models in Excel.
- Proficiency in accounting systems, with NetSuite experience as a significant advantage.
- Proactive problem-solver who identifies root causes to deliver long-term solutions.
- Strong communicator, skilled at leading projects and partnering across global teams.
- Agile and detail-oriented, capable of thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional at managing multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines.
